Vocal cords are like muscles and with proper training you can get a lot more out of them. With age and use your vocal cords can become sore, developing nodules which could end a career. Speech Level Singing (SLS) will get you through these hazards safely and unleash all of your potential.

It is recommended that students take at least a half hour private lesson once a week.  Students looking to excel quickly are encouraged to take 2 half hour lessons a week.

Sadly, yes. A bad coach can lead a singer into physically harming their vocal cords. The good news is that in many cases the damage can be undone. The other problem is teaching bad habits that can prevent a singer from maximizing their voice.  A lot of voice teachers teach a disconnection from the chest voice or head voice causing students to reach for low notes and strain for high notes.

Many beginning students have made leaps and bounds with their voice within just a few lessons. Our goal is to make concepts easy to understand so that you can apply them right away and start maximizing your vocal potential.

All ages, styles and levels.

Absolutely not.  We train singers to sing from the bottom to the top of their range with out a break in the voice or change in tonal quality.  It is very important to keep the things that make you an individual... unless they are damaging the voice. It is important to understand what is damaging so that you can maintain a healthy voice your whole life.

We work with students in all styles of music.  Our philosophy is to teach how to sing ....not what to sing.  Having a connection to chest voice and head voice is absolutely important in all styles of singing.  Each of our teachers have a background in many styles of music.  You may visit their website to see which teacher is a better fit.

Is it ok that I have never had vocal training?

What ages do you work with?

I have my own sound.  Will vocal training take away my individuality?

What styles do you teach?

Absolutely.  Singing is fun! We have students that have no aspirations to make it big, but look forward to their lesson every week. Our studio is a great place to meet like minded individuals.

I don’t want to be a “star”, is this place for me?
